Bill is adept at utilizing his extensive network to develop innovative lead generation and business capture strategies that generate robust and profitable new business pipelines for the companies he represents. A dedicated philanthropist, Bill has also raised millions of dollars for numerous national and regional non-profit charitable organizations through his role on the board of directors, including a nine-year tenure as board member of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. She has held leadership positions at Catalyst Rx, a pharmacy benefits manager and subsidiary of Catalyst Health Solutions, Inc. (Nasdaq: CHSI); Pathology Partners, Inc. (formerly Miraca Life Sciences, now Inform Diagnostics); SemperCare, Inc.; Amtech Corporation (now TransCore, a unit of Roper Industries (NYSE: ROP)); and Horizon Health Corporation (Nasdaq: HORC). Early in her career, Ms. Smith worked as a paralegal for the firms of Hughes & Luce and Johnson & Swanson, P.C.
Ms. Smith holds a B.A. in Business from the University of North Texas and a B.A. in Paralegal Studies from Southern Methodist University. Ms. Smith received her M.A. in Economics from the University of North Texas.

Ms. Michaud is a nationally certified and registered radiation therapist with over 35 years’ experience in the radiation therapy field, including 31 years’ experience in proton therapy research, development, and clinical treatment delivery. Her areas of expertise include: proton equipment design, human factors analysis, hazard analysis documentation, proton therapy training, proton sales and clinical customer communications, proton business modeling, proton software interface design, integration of ancillary clinical equipment, proton facility design, outpatient / radiation oncology / particle radiation treatment center operations, and clinical radiation therapy treatment delivery to thousands of patients.
Prior to joining ProTom, Ms. Michaud worked with Massachusetts General Hospital, ProCure Treatment Centers, Inc., Lahey Clinic, and multiple private consulting contracts. Ms. Michaud is the inventor and/or co-inventor on multiple proton-related patents.
Ms. Michaud obtained an A.S. in Radiation Therapy at Massachusetts College of Pharmacy & Allied Health / Harvard Joint Center for Radiation Therapy, and received a B.S. in Business Administration from Emmanuel College.

Mr. Raymond became ProTom International’s vice president of engineering in 2015. Mr. Raymond brings to ProTom extensive product knowledge, having worked on the engineering implementation and installation of three proton therapy systems, including one at Massachusetts General Hospital. He also brings with him over 36 years of experience in capital equipment product development, large-scale control, and safety integration/automation projects, and project management for a number of industries.
He is the co-inventor of multiple patents (both issued and pending) for ProTom. Mr. Raymond holds a B.S in Electrical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts – Lowell and an M.S. in Engineering Management from Tufts University.

Dmitri has 22 years of experience in the proton therapy field. He was one of the founding members and one of the first employees of ProTom International. Prior to his involvement in the proton therapy industry, Dmitri had a successful career in academia as a lecturer at the University of Adelaide in the Department of Mechanical Engineering. He was also an Engineering Officer and later as Research Scientist with the Defense Science and Technology Organization of the Australian Department of Defense. Dmitri was born in St. Petersburg, Russia (then the Soviet Union) and immigrated to Australia as a teenager in 1981, where he completed his schooling. He holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Adelaide

Dr. Rommel joined ProTom in March of 2021. As the director of physics, Dr. Rommel leads various efforts to improve and enhance the performance of the proton beam system from ionization to acceleration, transport, and delivery in the treatment room. In addition, he directs contributions by external specialists in areas such as beamline physics modeling.
Dr. Rommel has spent over 20 years developing advanced technologies in the semiconductor, nondestructive testing, and security inspection industries. He has published extensively in scientific journals, presented at international conferences, and holds 12 patents.
Before joining ProTom International, Dr. Rommel worked for 13 years at American Science and Engineering, where he served as Principal Scientist and finally as Chief Engineer. He holds a graduate degree from the University of Greifswald in Germany and a Ph.D. in theoretical physics from Boston College.

Prior to ProTom, Mr. Huseinovic managed the Mechanical Engineering Group at Axcelis Technologies, where he led new product development programs within the Ion Implant and the Plasma Cleaning and Curing departments.
Mr. Huseinovic has over 20 years of experience within the Capital Equipment, Electronic, and Medical Device industries. He holds multiple US granted patents spanning several categories, including the Semiconductor and the Medical Device spaces. He has a passion for applying his skills and providing technical leadership in advancing human health and the quality of life.
Mr. Huseinovic earned his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Tufts University.

Robert Debelle leads ProTom’s Asia Pacific expansion. He joined ProTom in 2018 after several years in senior leadership with the Australian satellite industry. Throughout his career, Robert has expanded international consulting services in San Francisco, Singapore, Tokyo and Hong Kong. Robert was instrumental in progressing the negotiations to build the first proton therapy centre in the Southern Hemisphere at the Australian Bragg Centre, South Australian Health and Medical Research Institute, Adelaide in South Australia.

Mr. Potenza joined ProTom in 2015 as the first member of the Service and Maintenance Team. He staffed the team with experienced personnel and implemented a comprehensive safety program. Mr. Potenza joined ProTom in 2015 as the first member of the Service and Maintenance Team. He staffed the team with experienced personnel and implemented a comprehensive safety program. Mr. Potenza led the team in support of the assembly and testing at MIT Bates Lab and the subsequent Massachusetts General Hospital installation.
Mr. Potenza has over 35 years of experience in manufacturing operations, service and maintenance, with 25 years at Intel as a lithography equipment specialist. He supported numerous specialist. He supported numerous installation cycles, large-scale site construction and facility decommissioning. He gained extensive experience in emergency response leadership, safety management lean manufacturing and team supervision.
Mr. Potenza is a graduate of both the US Naval Nuclear Power Program and Electronics Technician School.
He served in the submarine force as a reactor operator and achieved certification as an engineering watch supervisor after extensive electrical and mechanical system training.
